Dear Lord, 

We ask You to be with them in a very special way  

As they face the challenges of a firefighter's day.  

We pray that You will help them to be the best that they can be  

For there are many people who do depend on them daily.  

And when duty calls to danger, walk closely by their sides  

Instill in them great courage, please be their Strength and Guide. 

And whatever they are called to do, always thankful we have been  

That You have been the Unseen Guest walking next to them.  

Amen.    

Thank you for protecting us. Thank you for putting your lives on the line everyday. Thank you for doing your duty. 

Our primary thoughts and prayers are certainly for those of you in Public Service. We are praying for the safety of each one of you. We also are asking for strength and comfort for your families.
